The Megas are a kickass band that have one focus in life only — to pay tribute to the awesome that is the Mega Man series. I saw them live back when I lived in Los Angeles, and I can testify that they have the power to rock your face off (in a good way, that is).
These guys have just announced a new album as a part of a collaboration with Entertainment System called Megatainment, which you can actually preview a track from over at their Facebook page. If you dig it, you can grab the EP for $5 from their store (both digital and hard copies are available). The Megs are also currently touring, playing at Otto’s Shrunken Head in New York tonight and then going on to Pittsburgh, Ohio and Michigan later this week.
