The Master Chief Collection’s remastered Halo 2 maps look beautiful

Microsoft is calling Blood Gulch, and its successor Coagulation, the quintessential multiplayer Halo map, and I have to agree. After spending hundreds of hours playing LAN games in the original Halo on it, it was easily my group’s most played location.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection is bringing back six total maps with special treatment, and will remaster them in a completely new engine — along with the rest of Halo 2 that has its own remastered visuals. The new map is called “Bloodline,” and will retain the spirit of the originals with the new shine.
