Western release delayed by more than 300 seconds.
Anime Expo brought good and bad news for fans of retro-styled RPG, The Longest Five Minutes. NIS America have announced that the amnesia-themed adventure is coming to the Nintendo Switch, along with its previously announced PC and PS Vita releases.
Unfortunately, along with this news also came the announcement that the game will be slipping from its expected release date of this year, and will now arrive in the West in 2018 (The game originally launched in Japan last year). This delay hasn’t stopped NIS from opening pre-orders on a Limited Edition set, available via their online shop.
The Longest Five Minutes is the story of a young hero struck with memory loss during an epic battle with an evil overlord. In order to vanquish his foe, he must recall everything that has brought him to that point in time, requiring the entire story to be played via a series of flashbacks.
