Nintendo has not had its usual weekly update on The Last Story, but never fear! Mistwalker CEO Hironobu Sakaguchi has personally updated to quickly let us know that the Wii RPG has entered the final stages of development. Hooray!
“Recently, I often end up waking up at 5:00. Is it jet lag? Or am I on edge because LS is approaching completion,” muses the developer. “… Last Story’s development is at long last in the final stages. The feeling of tension is pleasant.”
Awesome. Perhaps, now that the game is nearly done, we can get some actual screenshots and trailer footage? I have absolute faith in Mistwalker and The Last Story looks thoroughly excellent, but I’d love more than some concept art. We’ve been very patient. Please deliver!
