The demo for The Last of Us, Naughty Dog’s hotly anticipated next release, has a confirmed arrival date of May 31 on PlayStation Network.
The date was derived from a countdown clock which appears when selecting the demo from within the main menu of God of War: Ascension. IGN posted the clock (and the above video of an impatient Greg Miller), followed by a confirmation from Naughty Dog’s Twitter feed.
I’m ready to play something other than Uncharted from these guys, which is a fine series but has never made me love it the way I see so many others do. The Last of Us looks like a different sort of thrill, less of a pulp action story, and I can’t wait to get my hands on it.
