The Last Express is headed to iPhone and iPad this week

Jordan Mechner’s acclaimed adventure game The Last Express will see a release on iPhone and iPad this Thursday courtesy of DotEmu, the folks who brought us Another World for iOS. The company says it worked for “over a year” to bring this to fruition with Mechner.

The iOS release is intended to be a “faithful port” of the 1997 original, which tells a non-linear story involving many different characters aboard the Orient Express prior to World War I. Beyond that, you’ll surely recognize the game for its art style, even if you’ve never played it.

While no price for this port was given, I’d expect it to at or below $5.99, the cost of the PC version.
