You know what the Wii needs? A charming looking game with a Psychonauts aesthetic that sits players in a big robot suit as they stop an outvasion from inner space. Oh wait, The Kore Gang is happening? Carry on then.
Admittedly, I have not heard about this game until today. Development was started by SnapDragon Games in 2003 but ended up canceled a year later. It resurfaced as a Wii game in 2008 and this year has been grabbed by Pixonauts for release later this year.
The troubled development might be an ominous cloud, but I can’t argue with the lovely visual style seen in the above trailer. In any case, I have a soft spot for these types of obscure but plucky little games, so I’ll be keeping my fingers crossed and one eye on its development.
