The joy of painting: Splatoon’s Splat Roller looks fun

My love of painting and squids, together at last

Not to just gush about Splatoon every darn time we bring up the game and its delightful nonsense, but I’m feeling this short, no-frills showcase of the Splat Roller weapon. Got 20 seconds to spare?

The oversized paint roller can be used to quickly spread ink across the battlefield or run over opponents, but if you’re unable to close the gap, it’s also got a medium-range projectile attack.

As someone who finds enjoyment in painting walls and the like (but not decks; never decks), I’d be so down for a mode that just let’s you screw around and paint entire levels at your leisure.
