The GameTrailers conspiracy: Rampant Microsoft-loving shenanigans aplenty

The Internet was rife with accusations and outraged screams this weekend as it was suggested that GameTrailers had been caught red-handed favoring the Xbox 360 over the PlayStation 3 thanks to a GRID video that wrongly labeled 360 footage as PS3 footage — less dynamic footage at that, making the PlayStation 3 look inferior and terrible.

I was quick to write this off as oversensitive conspiribabble from a bunch of crybaby Sony Defense Force imbeciles who obsessively perpetuate rumors that the world is out to get the PS3 (and by extension, them) rather than face up to the reality that nobody cares about the PS3’s reputation but them. That was, however, before I saw the EVIDENCE that you too may view by watching the above damning video.

After watching that footage, I have not one shred of doubt in my mind that this was more than a mere mistake. GameTrailers is a corrupt, malicious Web site intent on spewing pro-Microsoft propaganda for personal gain. The video proves it, because EVIDENCE!

Not wanting to add fuel to the rumor fire, I think I once saw someone who possibly worked at GameTrailers accepting money from Microsoft for lying about GRID. He was wearing a McDonald’s uniform and gave a Happy Meal to the Microsoft employee (cunningly disguised as a ten-year old) once he took the cash. If I ever see it happen again, I promise to film it and put it on YouTube, because YouTube videos prove everything!

GAMETRAILERS I AM CALLING YOU OUT! THANK YOU FOR REMOVING THE VIDEO (I feel the need to give thanks on behalf of a multinational corporation) BUT WHY DO YOU NOT REMOVE THE OTHER VIDEOS EH!? EH!? YOU TRY AND FOOL US ONCE MORE BUT HAVE BEEN CAUGHT RED-HANDED! DRINK THE KOOL AID YOU XBOT SHEEPLE!
