Although he was confirmed to be returning to the roster back when Injustice 2 was first announced, we have yet to see any of The Flash’s gameplay until now. The character may share some moves and combos from the Injustice: Gods Among Us incarnation, but The Flash just looks cooler here. The added flare adds a ton of, well, flash to his moves and seems all that more impressive.
And just like the first game, The Flash has my favorite super. I didn’t think they’d find a way to improve upon his round the world punch, but NetherRealm did it. I’m officially in The Flash hype camp right now.
Too bad about those Source Crystals though.
Injustice 2 is out on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One May 16.
