I made it through the Puzzle Quest craze relatively unscathed, but others weren’t so lucky. (Or, maybe they were, depending on your outlook.) If it’s sheer hours of entertainment per dollar spent you’re concerned with, this 48-hour Steam deal on Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords is quite the bargain. At 90 percent off, the game is down to $0.99.
The arguably less-good — and certainly more divisive — Puzzle Quest: Galactrix is also $0.99 in this promotion. As much as Marvel Puzzle Quest has my attention, its free-to-play hooks have me cautious to invest my time. Then again, Marvel. Hmm.
