Polish gaming site Polygamia.pl captured the entire CD Projekt conference from last week and posted it on YouTube. A lot of it is in in Polish or has some Polish commentary, but I’m sure you can figure some of it out. Why bother? Because it shows off what the Collector’s Edition of The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings looks like, in English!. If you want to know what you’re going to get in your hands, part 7 and part 8 shows you exactly that.
Part 1 and 2 are boring statistics from CD Projekt, who do a lot of the Polish translation for a lot of games. Part 3 and 4 shows gameplay of Afterfall: InSantiy, an upcoming post-apocalyptic RPG in the vein of Fallout and S.T.A.L.K.E.R. I assume a Polygamia guy is interviewing someone in Part 5.
Part 6 shows boring corporate data, but then a guy with red glasses starts talking about CD Projekt RED’s The Witcher 2! Part 7 and 8 detail the different editions for the game. Part 8 in particular shows how they about DRM and what kind of Steam/GOG deals there will be. Part 9 shows us that the Collector’s Edition will retail for €99,99, £79,99 and $129,99!
Part 10 and 11 show off some gameplay and part 12 and 13 are more Polish-only interviews. Because it’s annoying to go through everything on YouTube, I took the liberty of just embedding everything below. If you don’t speak Polish, just head to the bolded videos.
[The official video for the editions and pre-order details was released this Friday, it’s a bit better quality]
Part 1: Polish introduction with statistics!
Part 2: Some more upcoming games CD Projekt will translate?
Part 3: The Afterfall, which looks… interesting.
Part 4: More Afterfall. Check out its E3 Debut trailer while you’re at it.
Part 5: Useless interview if you don’t speak Polish.
Part 6: Statisticz! Introduction to The Witcher 2.
Part 7: The Witcher 2 trailer plus premium and collector’s editions details. Huge box!
Part 8: More collector’s edition stuff!
Part 9: Some Polish store deal? Collector’s edition pricing for all regions.
Part 10: Gameplay!
Part 11: More gameplay! Michael Jackson music at the end. Eeh-hee!
Part 12: Another Polish interview. Anyone willing to translate what was worthwhile?
Part 13: Yet another Polish interview. Skip if you don’t know Polish.
