The Elder Scrolls Online launches today for Early Access folk

It’s pretty stable so far

The Elder Scrolls Online officially launches today by way of the Early Access program for select pre-orders. Specifically, it kicked off at 7AM EST this morning, and I was there to test out the soft launch and see how Zenimax handled the influx of players with an Imperial Dragonknight.

Thankfully, the servers are holding up very well, and I haven’t had any issues or disconnects at all. I also haven’t encountered many glitches (many of which are probably fixed by the lengthy beta program), nor have I seen any major bugs yet.

Time will tell how much the infrastructure will buckle later in the week and when the game fully launches on Friday April 4th, but for now, feel free to jump in and explore Tamriel. You can also expect more impressions this week, and beyond.
