Hey, guys and gals! Before we begin our regularly scheduled program, I’d like to make note of the fact that we changed the titles of our show posts from “New Destructoid Episode” to “The DTOID Show” to free up a little more space in our already unnecessarily lengthy episode titles. What this means for you: slightly more reading. Or slightly less reading, depending on how you look at it.

Anyway, onto ye olde video game news! First off, if you haven’t already heard the news, Mr. Destructoid is going to be a playable character in Black Hive Media’s upcoming iOS platformer Arcade Jumper. Less importantly, but still exciting, is the breaking announcement of Borderlands 2! Max has some information on Red Dead Redemption‘s GOTY edition, and last but not least, we’ve got a full preview of id’s upcoming game Rage. Will Max’s unwavering love of violent, post-apocalyptic shooters be able to win Tara over? Tune in for the exciting conclusion!

And while you’re at it, tune into our LIVE show happening on Friday at 3:30pm PST at youtube.com/dtoid. I don’t want to say for sure yet, but there may be a naked pizza party. With muppets. And cocaine.
