The Division 2 Y8S2 Manhunt Climax Mission is now live, and you can obtain the Underboss Exotic by completing the challenge. However, the task is easier said than done, and I will help you figure out what needs to be done.
How to complete The Division 2 Y8S2 Manhunt Climax Mission
To begin the mission, you have to take down the three HVT targets that are part of this season’s Scout Challenges. Once you have cleared those three, you can begin the final Climax mission that will lead you to the Underboss Exotic.
Select the difficulty of your liking, and you are all set. You can also matchmake if you want to play with others. Go through the main door that opens into the Brass Room.
After securing the Brass Room by killing all the enemies, go on to the stage to scan the body. To continue your search for the civilians, follow the marker to enter the Platinum Lounge.
Here we find the first trapped civilian. You can’t rescue them immediately. Instead, you will have to withstand a wave of enemies. Once you clear the initial wave, the first boss, the Underboss, will appear to challenge you. The best formula is to clear all the surrounding enemies first and then concentrate on the Underboss as it tries to heal itself. Make sure to disrupt the process with your shots.
Once the Underboss is taken care of, head deeper into the map using the Gold Lounge door. Follow the marker and force open the elevator shaft to reach a small room with a couple of enemies. Kill them, interact with the switch, and head inside the control room.
Interact with the keyboard and return to the Platinum Lounge. Here, you’ll be ambushed by several enemies who also spew toxin. Survive the assault, and follow the marker to reach the lab.
Once you’re in the next room, destroy the two stashes and kill all the enemies. Turn back from the door you came through and travel upwards.
In the next room, you’ll need to destroy two pieces of lab equipment by placing Thermite on them. Then, kill all the enemies, including the miniboss that spawns.
Head to the next room and secure the area. This will open the doors for the final showdown. Once you clear the initial wave of enemies, Zodiac will appear from the stage. Don’t stay near the stage unless you want to die. This area is a no-respawn zone, so you’ll need to be careful.
Zodiac isn’t the hardest of bosses, but he can set up auto turrets. Try to disrupt his plans by shooting at him when he starts setting them up. Once Zodiac and his henchmen are dead, your job is done.
Do note that completing the mission at Master guarantees the Exotic. For the rest, you’ll only have a chance to get the weapon.
