The Division 2 Y8S2 Into the Dark Week 8 Manhunt missions are now live, and you can complete the Scout 8 challenges to reach close to the climax mission. In Week 8, we have three relatively easy tasks to complete.
In this guide, I will go through all three tasks and what needs to be done.

The Division 2 Y8S2 Scout 8 solutions
Just like the previous weeks, the three tasks will be hidden behind clues. You need to decode a clue, complete the task, and move on to the next. Here’s the list of three tasks we have for this week.
- Complete one Public Execution in East Mall
- Capture three Control Points in East Mall
- Complete any two friendly Open World activities
Complete one Public Execution in East Mall
The first task involves completing a Public Execution event in the East Mall location. You can do this at any difficulty you want. You can find public execution activities shown by red icons on the map. Typically, you will find hostages being executed by the enemy. Dive in, save the hostages, and kill all the enemies that you can find. Once you have removed all enemies from the area, you can speak with the NPCs to complete the task.
Capture three Control Points in East Mall
For the second part of the task, you have to capture three control points in the East Mall. They can be the same control point or different ones, as long as they are all located in the East Mall district. Here are the Control Points available in East Mall.
- Metro Ruins
- Solar Farm
- Sinkhole
- Crash Site
You can complete this task at any difficulty you want, but higher difficulties will provide better rewards. Once you head to the location, request your allies and begin your assault.
Clear the initial batch of enemies, and a second group of enemies with bosses will pop up and try to stop you from capturing the control point. Once you manage to complete the defense phase successfully, you will capture the control point. Do this two more times in the East Mall district, and you are done.
Complete any two friendly Open World activities
For the final task, you have to complete two friendly Open World activities. Typically, I like to complete weapon escort when they appear on the map. You’ll want to look for a green icon instead of the usual red ones.
If one doesn’t appear, you can restart the game to test your luck. You have to complete any two friendly Open World activities to finish the set.
