The Division 2 gets a hefty endgame update next week

World Tier 5 and the basin

Recommended Videos

The Division 2 launched with a big endgame portion in the form of a Black Tusk micro-campaign, but as promised Ubisoft is working on more as time goes on. The next set involves World Tier 5, which finally unlocks the Tidal Basin stronghold (a dungeon that is said to be “roughly the same size as Roosevelt Island,” an existing stronghold). It serves as the base of operations for Black Tusk.

Beyond that bit of new content, World Tier 5 will also open up the “Heroic Difficulty” setting, which does not have exclusive loot but still provides better drops. “Specific details” for Heroic will come later, and World Tier 5 will also host weekly invasions that bolster strongholds.

New gear sets are being added, a balance pass is coming (with patch notes to come), a few bugs will be fixed and pretty much everything other than PVP will be touched. All of this is coming Friday, April 5. As a reminder you can find the full 2019 roadmap below.
