Ska Studios (a.k.a. James Silva), best known for its Xbox LIVE titles The Dishwasher and I MAED A GAM3 W1TH Z0MB1ES 1N IT!!! has today announced its next title, Charlie Murder.
Based on the like, totally real life punk rock band Charlie Murder, the game is said to re-create the band’s very public rivalry with the metal band, Gore Quaffer. You know about this thing, right? Because it like totally happened, and I’m pretty sure Pitchfork and Perez Hilton covered it extensively. And if you don’t know about it, you just won’t know about it, because you’re not cool enough. There’s not even any information about this band online, because it was all removed as soon as it went live… that’s how punk rock it is. Got it?
The title is a four-player beat ’em up featuring all four members of Charlie Murder whose names I don’t know, because it doesn’t have a Wikipedia page and that’s how I do all of my hardcore games journalism research. Charlie Murder will face off against “bloodthirsty zombies, lethal ninjas, and other things James Silva can draw.”
Charlie Murder, or whatever it’s called (I’m not exactly sure, honestly, but that sounds good) will hit Xbox LIVE Indie Games in March.
