The director of The Evil Within wants to see the game’s sequel on Switch

Another Bethesda Switch port doesn’t seem out of the question

We’re getting pretty close to the release of The Evil Within 2 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Now producer Shinji Mikami, who acted as director for the original game, has said he would like to eventually see the game on Switch.

Mikami spoke with GameSpot, saying, “I think a Switch version would be interesting. I’d like to try it if I had the chance.” It’s probably safe to say that no such port is in the works, but Mikami’s interest provides a glimmer of hope.

The Evil Within 2s publisher, Bethesda, is also in the process of porting a bunch of its games over. Doom, Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, and Skyrim are all making their way to the Nintendo Switch.

If those titles perform well Mikami might get his wish. I’m sure we would all like a little portable injection of horror.
