The Daily Show rips on the Pokemon-quoting prez candidate

Most likely due to allegations regarding sexual harassment, Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain announced the suspension of his campaign on December 3. The Daily Show‘s Jon Stewart decided to say a few words on his behalf.

If you don’t know who Herman Cain is, this here is all you need to know for the purpose of this video. He would frequently quote “The Power of One” off the Pokémon: The Movie 2000 soundtrack, but it wasn’t until his most recent appearance that he finally acknowledged the correct source. Coupled with the supposed reason for his suspension, the material is ripe for comedy.

The above is a Hulu clip, so it can only be viewed within the US. Sorry, everyone else! I’m sure the bit will find its way onto YouTube, but for now, trust me when I say the segment is really, really funny. Replaced the Hulu clip with one directly from The Daily Show‘s site. Good call, Grandpa Cthulhu!
