Developer Xaviant has announced Battle Royale-esque The Culling, a new game wherein 16 players battle to the death in a Hunger Games-like island arena.
Just like Hunger Games, you must scavenge for weapons, food, and resources, and “build traps that will enable you to slay your fellow contestants and emerge victorious before the end of the round.”

“I asked a small, talented team to come up with their dream game and gave them the autonomy to build it,” Xaviant founder Michael McMain said. “The Culling is the result of that effort. It has been the highlight of my career!”
The Culling is expected to release on PC (albeit in Steam Early Access) on March 8, 2016.
