The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth is about to crush spirits on Xbox One and PS4

May 10 release, followed by Wii U

I’ve let The Binding of Isaac get away from me as far as the expansions are concerned. I know how I get when I become wrapped up in this game, and it’s not pretty! But, re-reading Nic’s review of Afterbirth now “You should absolutely play [it],” he says — it’s all so very tempting. Do I dare?

Console players will soon face that decision as well. The Afterbirth DLC is coming to Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on May 10, 2016, with a Wii U release to follow “in the coming months.” It’ll be $10.99.

There are lots of additions, from things like Greed mode to new characters, chapters, items, monsters, bosses, secrets, and oh lord I’m falling into the wiki rabbit hole. This can only end one way.
