The best Dante build in Warframe

Equinox who?

Dante is a Warframe who might be a bit confusing to build. His ability kit has different interactions that tie directly into his ultimate. He can also specialize in support, damage, and crowd control.

If you want something that gives you a bit of everything, a contender to be a top-tier all-rounder, check out what we have been cooking below.

Best Dante build in Warframe

Our Dante build will utilize his primary kit, including his Noctua Exalted weapon. Here are the mods you want to use:

  • Aura: Growing Power
  • Exilus: Cunning Drift

Mods

  • Umbral Intensify
  • Archon Continuity
  • Primed Flow
  • Augur Secrets
  • Blind Rage
  • Stretch
  • Transient Fortitude
  • Streamline
  • Arcanes:
  • Arcane Energize
  • Molt Augmented

This mod set along with the Arcanes will focus on all of Dante’s core strengths while maintaining his energy pool, increasing energy strength, and having deadly synergy with his Noctua.

This build will also allow you to use any of his Verse setups to give you huge amounts of Overguard, healing, or straight-up damage.

Noctua build

Since Noctua is an exalted weapon of Dante’s, it’ll require a build. It utilizes pistol mods, so use the following set:

  • Galvanized Diffusion
  • Galvanized Shot
  • Hornet Strike
  • Lethal Torrent
  • Pistol Pestilence
  • Accelerated Isotope
  • Xata Invocation
  • Ris Invocation

The combination of Toxin and Radiation will prove to be very useful for crowd control and damage output. Toxin will also proc Corrosive thanks to the Archon Continuity mod applied directly onto Dante. This will allow the secondary effect of Galvanized Shot to be even stronger.

As for the Radiation status effects, it’ll make enemies fight each other. On top of the crowd control from Dante’s abilities, it also adds to his survivability.

The Invocation Tome mods are going to be used for energy economy purposes. The secondary fire for the Noctua is incredibly strong. With the secondary fire helping out with energy efficiency and energy gain, you’re getting so many benefits.

Best subsume abilities for Dante

It isn’t recommended to subsume abilities into Dante, as all of his abilities synergize well with each other. However, if you really do want to add an ability with the Helminth, we suggest removing his Noctua ability in place for one of the following:

  • Roar
  • Eclipse
  • Nourish
  • Empower
  • Ensnare
  • Larva

Best archon shards for Dante

To top off Dante’s strong build, you will want to use four Emerald or Topaz Archon Shards. You want to use the embed bonus of +10/+15 Ability Damage on enemies affected by Corrosion/Radiation Status.

With your Noctua spreading these status procs like nothing, you’ll almost always have this buff active, giving you even more damage output when casting your Dark Verse and Final Verse abilities.

For the fifth Archon Shard slot, put an Amber Shard. Give it the Energy Orb effectiveness as it’ll further help you with energy since Dante is very energy-dependent.

With this setup, you can take Dante into the hardest parts of Warframe with ease. It will take some time to get used to combining pages or getting the mods in order, but the payout is worth it.
