Looks far better than the awful graphics on 3DS

Did you know that there is a free-to-play Monster Hunter that runs on Cry Engine 3 on PCs? You might not since the game has only been released in China, but that’s about to change thanks to a modding team named Team HD. The plan is to release a beta English translation patch a week from today on May 30. You can already get the game installed and running by following guides the team has provided and can apply the patch once it is released.

After having mostly played series on Wii U and 3DS this ultra texture video running at 60 frames-per-second looks a billion times better. Meanwhile, the next Monster Hunter game to get officially released in English is going to be the 3DS exclusive Generations which looks about on par with a decent looking PS2 game.
