The 7th Guest: 3 announced for PC, Mac, and mobile

That’s certainly a name all right

Trilobyte is hard at work on another installment in The 7th Guest series for iOS, Android, Mac, and Windows, it was announced on Polygon. This new adventure game is said to have some of the original team involved with development and, unsurprisingly, might go through Kickstarter for funding down the road if it comes to that.

“In the world of The 7th Guest: 3, you will re-enter the mysterious and magical mansion, newly restored with games, puzzles and artifacts,” said studio co-founder Charlie McHenry. “But it is still haunted, as players will soon discover. You will learn more about what happened on that terrible night, and discover the real story and previously hidden secrets of the gaming world’s most mysterious toymaker.”

The original game is one I feel that I would need a time machine to properly experience given how the visuals have aged. That’s normally not the case with me, but there’s just something about ’90s adventure gaming in particular. A fresh installment, however, could do the trick.

Without proper context, this looks like a jello bust of an alien. How far off am I?
