A television set with a built-in Nintendo Entertainment System sounds like the sort of extravagant purchase I’d make if, as a youngster, I was nearly run over by a bad man and he handed me a blank check that I could then proceed to cash for a million dollars, sight unseen. Well, that, and also a soda drinking fountain.

I was familiar with the Panasonic Q, a sort of GameCube from the future (i.e., Japan) that had a built-in DVD player, but this Sharp TV-console hybrid is totally new to me. Fun bit of history.
