TGS: It’s the new Catherine trailer and OH SHI- MONSTERS

Hey there! Here’s a trailer for Catherine, Atlus’ new PlayStation 3/Xbox 360 effort from the team that made Persona. It’s reportedly in the “final tuning” stage and is due for a Winter release.

My Pavlovian reaction to any and all news regarding this game has been strengthened tenfold by this trailer, which shows off Katherine-with-a-K, Catherine-with-a-sexy, and OH SHI- MONSTERS. Also, Vincent seems pretty good at opening his mouth real wide.

Hit the jump for a quickie translation of some of the stuff happening in the trailer.

[Update: We’ve switched my terrible work with one that an actual smart person (Japanator community member Cryptnotic) came up with -Josh]

Katherine:

“Hey, are you listening?”

“Lately I’ve been thinking what if my parents called and said, ‘What’s going on?'”

“You’re not hiding anything from me, right?”

TEXT:

“With the meeting of a mysterious, beautiful woman, the nightmare begins.”

“Is it real love?”

“Life’s choices?”

“Return alive? Die?”

Vincent:

“WTF?”

*gets an email*

“But, this pose…”

Expect more news as Dale claws his way toward the Atlus booth to get a closer look-see at the game.
