TGS: Here’s the extent of Catherine on the show floor

Recommended Videos

You wanted Catherine. I wanted Catherine. I had my ram horns on. But she’s not here. Atlus’ horny, upcoming game is absent from Tokyo Game Show 2010. I didn’t expect a playable demo, but I was at least hoping to hear a little bit more about their next game. Or at least see some Catherine cosplay. But no.

Because so many have asked me, I’ll say it here: Catherine is not really on the show floor. There’s only one small display, and all it really amounts to is a screen playing looping video, attached to some boxes and a couple of signs. There’s no details, dates or even fliers. And it’s in the Konami booth for some reason.

Bah. I’m kind of sad about it all. I took pictures of the whole set up so you could see exactly what I saw and feel exactly as sad as I feel.

Maybe next year.
