When I think of Castlevania, I don’t think of sweeping, epic storylines. I think of skellingtons throwing their own bones and kick-ass music. Here comes of Lords of Shadow to confound expectations with a trailer that exceeds seven minutes and looks incredibly self-important.
Mumm-Ra from Thundercats is apparently in it, though.
The game looks hot regardless of its pomposity, and I think I’ll be picking this one up. It’s out on October 5.
