TGS 2007: Bladestorm: The Hundred Years War trailer Posted 16 years ago by James Stephanie Sterling While most of you know Koei for its repetitive button-mashers, only a few of you might be aware that the company also has a range of incredibly solid and interesting strategy games in its library. Franchises like Nobunaga’s Ambition, Dynasty Tactics, Romance of the Three Kingdoms and Kessen are all from Koei, and Bladestorm: The Hundred Years War looks set to follow in the tradition of the latter with its emphasis on full-scale medieval war action. I always view a new IP from Koei with a keen eye and it seems that Bladestorm will certainly be better than Fatal Intertia was. It’s very hard for Koei to muck up a tactical game, that much I know. I’m all for Kessen-like gameplay and an epic story, so hopefully this England vs. France adventure lives up to my high expectations. James Stephanie Sterling Filed under... #Tokyo Game Show
