TGS 09: Ninokuni trailer is gorgeous

I figured I didn’t have to be too descriptive in that headline to get you to come down here and check out this trailer for Ninokuni, which may have ditched its subtitle, The Another World (or Gamtrailers is just lazy). To be honest I also have no idea what’s going on in it since it’s all in Japanese, but that doesn’t stop me from wanting this game more and more. Really, the game could suck to no end and I wouldn’t care as long as I got a chance to touch a cartridge that contained the combined genius of Level 5 and Studio Ghibli. For me, the offspring of that wedding can do no wrong.

Luckily, it doesn’t look like the game is going to suck at all. With gorgeous animations, a real book of spells packaged with every game and an actual original looking storyline and character design I’m ready to give this game an 11/10 right here and now. Did you see the gameplay? I’ mean did you really take a look at how good it looked? Of course my previous statements in the paragraph before this clearly demonstrate I’m immensely biased, but you’ve read too far now and forgotten about that anyway. Where was I? Oh yes, this game is going to melt our faces.
