TGS 09: EA’s pre-TGS offers stunning views of not-games

EA hosted a press event in the fancy-pants Roppongi Hills area of Tokyo. Their little shindig overlooked took place in the Mado Lounge, in the Mori art museum, overlooking the entire city in a building that dominates even the Tokyo Tower in size. We were also privy to the stunning layout of Tokyo City View. What does this have to do with games? Not much. We just thought you’d like to see the view from here. Enjoy the pictures of and around the event in our gallery below.

Back to gaming: Inside, developers and designers showed off their latest EA wares in a presentation, and then shared with us preview code of their titles. Battlefield: Bad Company 2 and Left 4 Dead 2 joined Dante’s Inferno and Dead Space: Extraction and more, all playable from the lounge. We’ll have more impressions from this event throughout the day as we kick off our week of Tokyo Game Show coverage. You don’t want to miss the Dante’s Inferno coverage — trust me.
