Here at the Tokyo Game Show, the Museum of Game Science isn’t really much of a museum. It’s more of a booth, filled with nerdy exhibits relating to videogames. Every once in awhile, you’ll run into someone here that asks if you’ve seen the booth with all of the broken stuff. This is that booth. We took pictures so you could see it, too.

The biggest exihibit is a display of several game consoles disassembled and labeled.  Ever wonder why the PS3 does not overheat? Now you can see that big-assed fan for yourself. They even busted up a Famicom and Super Famicom. Other exhibits included the history of Final Fantasy and the history of the Tokyo Game Show. Both are in the gallery below.

The coolest was a massive backlight list of every piece of gaming hardware made, from 1983 to 1994. We’ve left that image at full resolution so you can get a closer look if you’d like.
