See what I did there? It was a sex joke. I hope it wasn’t too immature for you. For those of you able to stand my sophomoric humor I have good news. Telltale is working on putting out a new game based on a franchise “that’ll blow everybody’s mind.” That’s a direct quote from and interview Shacknews did with Telltale’s Dan Connors.
When questioned about what was up next for Telltale after Wallace and Gromit and Monkey Island are done Connors responded that, “We’ve got product in production right now that we’ve been talking about but we haven’t really set a release date to. Everything else, we’re just ….we’re out in the streets, sort of talking around to different folks to figure our franchises that make real good sense for a May-June timeframe. Hopefully we’ll pull something in that’ll blow everybody’s mind. We’re pretty excited about the people we’re talking to, so hopefully we’ll have a pretty huge announcement here soon.”
See, mind blowing. Right there in the third sentence. What could it be? They’ve already brought back two cherished point-and-click adventures from LucasArts. Could we be seeing another (Full Throttle, please!)? But he says that they’re out there talking with people, I don’t think they’d have to do too much talking with LucasArts after the popularity of their last two LucasArts based games. Maybe they’re bringing some other storied franchise back or possibly other popular animated characters. Quick, to the speculation-mobile, Robin!
