Telltale announces Law & Order: LA

Telltale games continues to gobble up major entertainment IPs, this time announcing a Law & Order: LA title for PC, Mac, consoles, mobile platforms, and tablets.

We don’t know much about the game just yet, outside of the fact that it will be based on the television show which airs weekly on NBC. We can also elect it to be episodic, with Telltale co-founder and CEO Dan Connors saying: “The talents and skills that we’ve been building at Telltale are ideally suited for the structure and storytelling approach of televised procedurals like Law & Order.”

Telltale certainly is on a role with its episodic adventure titles, so there’s hope for a solid experience here, even if you’re not a fan of Law & Order: LA. But as Conrad pointed out, Telltale did release a slew of poorly received CSI titles, so set your expectations accordingly.

Law & Order: LA
is out this year; you can sign up for game updates on Telltale’s website for more info as it’s released.
