Producer of all things Tekken, Katsuhiro Harada, suggested in our recent interview that all developers should be making their games available for Microsoft’s Xbox 360.
“If you are not making games on the 360, then you are doing something wrong,” Harrada said.
Following this going to print, Hirada reached out to clarify what he meant… “The X360 has a large market in the US especially, so lots of fans had been asking for a version on that platform. So we made the decision to go multiplatform so that as many people as possible could play the game on their desired platform.”
Apparently the folks over at Namco Bandai are doing things right by Harada’s standards — pretty much everything in their catalog, that has made the trip stateside, has landed on the Xbox 360. Hell, some games only appear on Microsoft’s console here.
Now if only they would get a move on and bring Tales of Xillia to the Xbox 360, then life would be perfect.
