Riot Games has revealed the next set for its popular strategy auto battler Teamfight Tactics. Titled Inkborn Fables, the new set brings players to a mystical and ancient world filled with mythological creatures and legendary heroes. Patch 14.6, which begins the new Inkborn Fables set, goes live for PC and mobile on March 20, 2024.

I’ve had a lot of fun with the current TFT set, Remix Rumble. However, the release date for Inkborn Fables is at right around the four-month mark with Remix Rumble which is the standard lifespan for sets at the moment.

As is usual with new sets, Inkborn Fables will introduce new champions, mechanics, traits, augments, cosmetics, and a new Season Pass. Even though the teaser trailer above is brief and doesn’t show any gameplay, there are more than likely some hints about some of the things we can expect in the new set. The beautifully painted scrolls depict mystical beasts as well as some pretty fantastical renditions of certain champions from the Runeterra universe including what I’m pretty sure was Janna and Teemo.

Oh, and you want me to think the Rammus picture on the wall is just there for show? As my spiked shell friend would say: “Okay.”

Teamfight Tactics: Inkborn Fables will be released on PC and mobile on March 20, 2024, as a free update
