I want to take a moment to apologize for not getting the post up last week. I hate when I miss a post, it drives me absolutely bonkers.
Shadow is back with us this week to talk about a new update that, well, may not have been as awesome as many were hoping. It’s probably best to let Shadow tell you all about it, since he definitely knows this game better than I do.
End of the Line was finally released as well as the long awaited update. The video can be viewed here. I won’t spoil anything, but the video itself is amazing. The update however is one of the most disappointing I’ve seen in a very long time. The map was canned by Valve, the new weapons were scrapped, and the new badge that you can get is a paid-only item. What does that leave in the update? Well, there’s a taunt, a new melee weapon, and a bunch of hats. I’m not kidding.
In any case we’ll carry on with the usual insanity that people have come to expect, it’ll just be a lot less ducky than I hoped.
Bummer, I hate when there’s this certain anticipation for something and then when it lands, it’s nothing short of a major letdown.
The good news here is that, Shadow and the rest of the TF2 faithful won’t let something like this stop them from having an amazingly good time. If you’ve never joined them for our weekly TF2 event, I highly recommend it, well, if you enjoy having a ridiculous amount of fun that is.
So what is TF2sday?
Every Tuesday, a ton of folks from all across Destructoid hop on to the community server to play, talk, and shoot each other. It’s usually a pretty crazy good time, and almost always involves various melee only matches between a handful of classes. So feel free to jump on and join us sometime!
