TANK POWER! World of Tanks will tank-rush the MMO scene

Recommended Videos

Newcomers to Massively Multiplayer games, especially fantasy-themed titles, are usually quite disappointed when they ask for a “Tank” and receive some kind of burly man or orc in knight’s armor who says his role is to “pull aggro,” saying the phrase like it was some kind of deviant sex act. Disgusting.

Wargaming.net aims to bring the term back to its roots with World of Tanks, a team-based Massively Multiplayer action game based on the great tank battles of World War II. You can jump into one of over 150 vehicles drawn from the stuffed garages of the US, German and Soviet armies, all intricately detailed and boasting a realistic vehicle upgrade system.

Pick from agile light tanks, versatile medium tanks, or beastly heavy tanks, or even snipe from afar as a long-range howitzer…actually, just…just see the trailer below. And maybe look at the pretty screenshots in the gallery.

Feel the TANK POWER!
