Taiko no Tatsujin drummed up for iPad

Taiko no Tatsujin, or Taiko: Drum Master here in the west, is coming to the iPad. It’s upscaled, sure, but now you’ll have more screen real estate to get tapping on.

It’s called Taiko no Tatsujin Plus, and it comes with “Carmen” when you download it from the App Store (Japan). It’s free because you’ll have to pay for song packs. Siliconera asays that three song packs are available: Popular Song Packs 1 and 2, and J-pop Pack 1. Each contains five songs and costs 600 yen a piece.

An auto-Tweeting function drops your high scores on your Twitter feed after a match. Taiko no Tatsujin Plus launches in Japan on May 28th.

I don’t know about you, but I’d much rather get my virtual drumming on with the iPad’s bigger screen.
