You can still play it in open beta until then
While I wouldn’t count Steven as a card-game guy so much as someone who likes a good bout of turn-based strategy now and again, Duelyst caught his attention with its sweet pixel art and animations a couple years back. I had a similar reaction during its early days on Kickstarter.
Duelyst has been in open beta for a while — long enough to build up an audience that’s putting in “more than 150,000 matches” a day, according to Counterplay Games — and is nearing launch on April 27, 2016 for Windows and Mac. A few weeks off, still, but this animated cutscene sure is neat.
