Today, tickets go on sale for the newest addition to the long-running line of videogame music concerts from German production company Merregnon Studios, titled Symphonic Selections. While the previous concerts in last few years have often revolved around a central theme or series of focus, this concert will see a blend of the biggest game music juggernauts come together, featuring reprises of some of the most popular arrangements performed earlier at the Symphonic Game Music Concerts, as well as all new debuts by the spectacular arrangement duo of Roger Wanamo and Jonne Valtonen.

Among the games you’ll find this November will be Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker, Shadow of the Colossus, Shenmue, Monster Hunter 3, and Super Mario Galaxy. The festivities will take place in the Cologne Philharmonic Hall, Germany, and will be performed by none other than the world famed WDR Radio Orchestra, the very same orchestra that performed the iconic Symphonic Fantasies as well as many other of Merregnon Studios’ other productions. This time around, the orchestra will also be joined by the internationally renowned chamber group Spark, so this will not be a show you’d want to miss if you’re in the area.

Tickets are now on sale at Cologne Philharmonic’s website. If you’re in Europe, make the trek to experience a true symphonic marvel,  as these productions are world-class quality.
