Survive randomized dungeons in Zelda-esque Delver’s Drop

Look out for that first step…

“Colorful’ and “nostalgic” are the first things to come to my mind after checking out that trailer. It’s also pretty easy to see the influence that The Legend of Zelda series had on the folks at Pixelscopic, and I for one support that choice 100%. Best of all, you can too!

Delver’s Drop is 2D action-adventure/RPG game with a unique dark art style and features Pixelscopic “Randungeonization” technology that creates a new dungeon with each newly spawned character. Your quest is to infiltrate The Drop, an near-impregnable and shifting fortress, in the hopes of gaining as much loot as your greedy little paws can carry. Only a few of the character classes have been revealed at this time: the Rogue, the Sorcerer and the Gladiator.

If you like what you see here and would love to help these folks out in order to get the game into your hands a little quicker, they have an ongoing Kickstarter where you can chip in. No need to worry if money is a concern though, you can also vote for them on Steam Greenlight. I always have a soft spot when it comes to 2D action-RPGs, but Delver’s Drop looks to be something special.
