Surprise! Steam for Mac looks identical to Windows Steam

As you can plainly see in the video above, when Steam makes itself available for Mac later this year, it’s going to look a heck of a lot like it currently does in beta form on Windows. The current Steam client is nearly ready to be disowned in favor of the sleek-looking beta version, in case you hadn’t heard yet.

None of this should be at all surprising, or even disappointing. If you find yourself saddened by this news — that when Steam comes to Mac, it won’t be visually superior — well, you must be living a ridiculously rad, care-free life.

I so envy you.
