The history of Leisure Suit Larry: Box Office Bust for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC is an odd one. It was quietly leaked by way of one of the game’s voice actors. Later, it was in limbo when the game’s publisher, Sierra, went bust. Then, all of a sudden, it was being published by Codemasters.

Now? The Xbox 360 and PC versions are coming out, with little to fanfare, on April 1 for $29.99. That’s no joke. The PlayStation 3 version has a later, summer release date because that’s the fun version. That right there is a joke (because we’re sure they’re all the same amount of fun, which is $29.99 worth, presumably).

According to Codemasters, Leisure Suit Larry: Box Office Bust features boobs, platforming, racing, humor, and puzzle solving. Of course, we have no way of confirming this stuff, because we don’t know anyone who has actually played it. We can confirm that the game will feature celebrity voice talent like Carmen Electra and Jay Mohr; hit the jump to see both of them yapping about their roles in the game.

Years ago, I might have added that Carmen Electra sounds like she’s having an orgasm when she talks, just to entice you to watch. But since it’s 2009 and not 1994, I’ve got nothing.
