Surprise! Call of Duty: Black Ops is getting a DS version

Recommended Videos

Guys, guys! You can finally relax now. A DS version of Call of Duty: Black Ops is in the pipeline from developer n-Space. This is happening and there’s nothing you can do to stop it.

I have no personal experience with any of the Call of Duty games for DS, but friends of our family have kids who really dig them. Full disclosure: they don’t own any current-gen consoles, so they take what they can get. Anyway, I imagine there are plenty of people in the same boat, which is why companies keep doing these handheld ports.

Like its console brethren, this miniaturized Black Ops will have controllable aircraft, such as the jet shown above. Six-person online multiplayer with the standard perks system is also a given, which I can’t even fathom. Just goes to show how not in the know I am when it comes to competitive DS games.
