Read, read, WIN!

One of the best parts of my job is the satisfaction that comes with the phrase. “We’ve partnered with,” knowing full damn well I set that up, myself. It makes me sound and feel official. I made it, Mom! Take that!

Ahem. Anyway, we’ve partnered with Super Rare Games to bring you guys news of their latest releases, and also the opportunity to win a copy of their past special physical editions of previously digital-only games! So, read up on the newly-announced Fairune Collection, and win a copy of their previous title Q.U.B.E. 2. Because who doesn’t love physical games?!

Fairune Collection is the 14th title released by Super Rare Games. This four game packs comes with Fairune, Fairune 2, Fairune Blast, and Fairune Origins — the latter appearing for the first time ever! Follow the series’ heroine on her Legend of Zelda-inspired retro RPG quest to seal away a great evil by unlocking three magical statues. Gain new weapons and abilities to journey through the retro world and defeat the enemies that lie in front of you.

As usual, Super Rare Games goes all out with the package. In addition to the physical cart containing all four games, you’ll get interior art on the sleeve, a full 20-page manual in color, a special sticker, and a 3-pack of collectible cards with art from the games. As someone who’s bought a few of these, myself, I can attest that it’s a cool little bundle. Pre-orders open March 14, 2019.

Speaking of cool little bundles, remember a few weeks ago when we put up our partnership post announcing Q.U.B.E. 2? Well, now we’ve got a copy of that one to give away!

I told y’all you’d get a chance to win something. I keep [some of] my promises.

Q.U.B.E. 2 is the anticipated sequel to the 2011 original, available now for the first time to Nintendo Switch. British archaeologist Amelia Cross has just woken up on a strange and barren planet. Armed only with her wits and the assistance of fellow survivor Emma, Amelia must overcome the puzzles and challenges presented by the Q.U.B.E. to find a way home. The game’s 80+ puzzles and varied environments are all intact and tailored for this special Switch release, allowing new gamers to get in on the action.

You can buy a copy of Q.U.B.E. 2, but just be careful — as of writing, they’ve got less than 400 copies left of the original 4,000 run. Once they’re gone, they’re gone! Or, you can just win one from us. The Super Rare Games release comes with:

  • Fully assembled Nintendo Switch game with cartridge
  • Interior art
  • Full-colour 12 page manual
  • Exclusive sticker
  • 3 card trading card pack

To enter to win, use the widget below to leave your name and email address. You can repeat daily for additional entries. For bonus entries, follow Dtoid and Super Rare Games on Twitter, and share our contest post with your friends.

While you’re waiting, tell us what digital games you’d like to see get the Super Rare treatment. It’s a damned shame that P.T. is stuck on launch model PS4’s, so I’d like to challenge them to do the impossible and put that bad boy on a disc so everyone can enjoy it again. A tall order? Sure. But if you reach for the stars, anything can happen! Maybe. Probably not. But still, a girl can dream.

We have one copy to give away. This prize has worldwide shipping, so everyone can enter! Our winner will be drawn on Wednesday, March 13.

Don’t forget to pre-order one of the 4,000 copies of Fairune Collection that will ever be produced! And our friends over at Nintendo Enthusiast also have a copy, so check there for more chances to win.
