Super Mario Wii gets its own NASCAR car

I don’t watch this “NASCAR,” and I don’t know who “Denny Hamlin” is, but there’s a reason I just typed those two things — Nintendo.

This Saturday, NASCAR pro Hamlin will get behind the wheel of a customized New Super Mario Bros. Wii car, competing in the Able Body Labor at Phoenix International Raceway. It’s the No. 20 GameStop Toyota, and it looks like the Mushroom Kingdom threw up all over it.

The design is to promote the release of New Super Mario Bros. Wii, which hits shelves this Sunday. Check back tomorrow for our full review. Of the game, not the car.
