[Update: Nintendo says everything’s back to normal. Happy level hunting.]

While you can still play and build levels in Super Mario Maker offline, the game’s online features are temporarily unavailable while Nintendo fixes a bug in Create mode. If you see an error message when attempting to head into the Course World, that’s why. You’re not alone!

The company expects to have a patch ready tomorrow, January 28 at 5:00pm Pacific. Once the update has gone out, you’ll be able to get back online.
