Such a tease! Mother 3 is headed to Wii U in Japan

There was at least one noticeable difference between today’s Nintendo Direct in North America and Japan, and of course it involved Mother 3. The latter region is getting the treasured role-playing game on the Wii U Virtual Console next month.

It’s not our year, apparently. Will it ever be? Perhaps in my lifetime.

The port will be available digitally in Japan on December 17, 2015.
